The City is a premier gym group in Poland, proudly boasting 24 locations nationwide; dedicated to offering affordable memberships that go beyond just promoting health, but about enhancing lives through thoughtfully designed environments that embody the brand’s vision of accessible, purpose-driven health care, available 24/7.
At the heart of The City’s philosophy is a commitment to effective design that resonates with their angular brand identity. From the sleek lines of the equipment, the strategic layout of the workout areas, or the ambient lighting that energises the space, and enhances the member experience. The City’s gym spaces are more than just places to work out; they are thoughtfully crafted environments where design and functionality converge to support the well-being of their community, making health care both accessible.

Dynamic, Inclusive Fitness Environment
The fitness industry is by no means a one-size-fits-all field.The purpose of the design was to create dynamic and inclusive fitness environment that caters to the diverse needs of all members, from vegan bodybuilders to senior citizens and occasional gym-goers.
Uniquely designed spaces set to enhance every aspect of the workout experience, no matter the time of day. Whether members prefer to start their day with a refreshing cold shower, release stress on a Fairtex leather boxing bag, or burn calories in a neon-lit spinning area, the spaces are to ensure that each space is thoughtfully tailored to support individual routines. The ultimate objective to design was being inviting, multifunctional fitness club that appeals to all customers, making every visit an enjoyable and motivating experience.

GYM DESIGN REIMAGINED:
Cohesive & Brand-Aligned Fitness Environment
The design vision was to reimagine traditional gym spaces, eliminating wasted areas, inconsistent layouts, and under-utilised equipment, and transforming them into highly efficient, cohesive environments that embody a strong brand identity. The design strategy focused on resolving common challenges such as half-empty cardio rooms and an excess of running machines by optimising space through the integration of group workout areas and multifunctional zones that cater to diverse fitness activities.
Ensuring that every square meter is purposeful, creating venues where the brand’s personality—a masculine yet relaxed vibe—remains consistent across all locations. The outcome is a unified, inviting atmosphere that not only resonates with members but also authentically reflects the brand’s core identity.
